Sheen Rehab Threatens Hit Show

CBS, the network that carries the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, announced this morning that production of the show has been suspended for three months while the star, Charlie Sheen receives treatment in a rehab facility.
The early reports on Sheen suggested that he would be in rehab for just one month, the same length of time that he has visited in the past. However, the doctors feel that he will need intense treatment to battle the addictions that he is facing and have suggested that a three-month stay will be better for him.
Now the show’s crew is concerned about their well-being. With the production of the show shut down they are not getting paid and that could mean some hard times for the crew. During the last rehab stint the crew was paid a percentage of their standard salary but this time it will be much longer.
CBS announced that this hiatus will likely cost the show an estimated $250 million in lost ad revenue. This is the longest amount of time that the show has been suspended outside of the last Hollywood writer’s strike.
But the crew and the network have said that they are behind Sheen one hundred percent. They want him to get better to secure their future.
Friends and family told reporters today that they were afraid that they would find Sheen dead in his home one day if he did not seek some kind of help.
