Palin Daughter Involved in Homophobic Rant

Willow Palin, daughter of former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, was involved in a Facebook rant yesterday where she used several homophobic slurs.

The issue started when a former classmate of Willow’s posted a comment about the new reality show that Sarah Palin has produced.

The young man, known as Treh, was then verbally attacked by Willow Palin, where she referred to him as “Gay” and called him a “F—–t” at one point.

This has sparked a wave of controversy among gay and lesbian communities around the country and could have a negative effect on Palin’s possible 2012 bid for the White House. Her children have often been considered the source of her downfalls politically. He daughter Bristol showed up pregnant as a teen when Palin was set to run with Cheny for the White House against Obama.

This newest debacle has started some noise in political circles, the kind of noise that Palin was hoping to avoid before the election started. However, there is no taking back what is posted on the social network and millions have already weighed in on the comments posted by Willow.

Bristol Palin also was involved with the attack to a lesser degree but still outside of the normal standards that politician’s children are held too. Bristol later posted an apology on her Facebook page, citing that she and her sister were wrong in attacking the critic of the family show.

There has been no official word from Willow or Sarah Palin over the incident.
