The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears will meet up this weekend in Chicago for the next round of the NFL playoffs.

The Packers and the Bears have the longest running rivalry in the NFL. The proximity of the two cities and the long-standing playoff meetings has created the rivalry that promotes fan energizing games.

However, there are usually problems when these two teams meet and that means extra security will be in play for the game. According to statements by the Chicago Bears front office, dozens of off duty police officers will be on hand to curb any fan problems that might pop up during the game.

There is no doubt that this will be the biggest game day draw of the off-season. Records for attendance are normally broken when the two teams meet and this time will likely be the same.

Both the Packers and the Bears are hungry for another playoff win with hopes of advancing to the Super Bowl. Once they have completed this game the field will be set and it appears that the New York Jets just might have enough momentum to push through for the big game.

The only issue that stands right now is the weather. The upper Midwest area is set to receive some more snow and possibly a round of freezing rain. This could make for a dangerous game and for many accidents as thousands of fans flock to Soldier Field in Chicago.
