Kate Perry and Russell Brand to Tie the Knot in India

It was reported by the Associated Press in Jaipur, India that Kate Perry and Russell Brand are going to marry each other at a resort on the outskirts of a famous tiger sanctuary called Ranthambore.

The celebration will go on for a period of six weeks and will begin on Saturday. The ceremony will be conducted as per Hindu rituals at Sher Bagh resort. A local priest will be performing all the rituals.

This was told by Mohan Singh, who is a tour manager for the company that is organizing most of the events related to this marriage.

He further told that the wedding will have all the colors of a Rajasthani wedding and both the bride and groom will be wearing traditional Indian dresses. Thirteen vehicles have been hired by the couple to carry approximately eighty guests for a tour of the sanctuary after the completion of the wedding.

One of the largest sanctuaries in India, the Ranthambore National Park is well-known for its large tiger population. It is also home to many other animals like wild boars, leopards, sloth bears and hyenas. This sanctuary is situated about 80 miles from the capital city of the state Jaipur.

The couple has planned to stay in a luxury tent in the Aman-i-Khas resort which is situated very close to the sanctuary. The guests will be staying at the Sher Bagh resorts and the Vanyavilas.

The couple is using private security guards and the event is not being discussed by them with the media.
