Jets Clinch NFL Berth
By Gabriela MooreDec 27 2010
On Sunday the New York Jets managed to clinch their position for the NFL Playoffs and now they have some decisions to make.
The Jets have had a rather strange season for this year but they are still fighting every minute to make it through the post season. However, they have a lot of heavy contenders that they are going to have to face before they make it to the big game.
This is all in the same line with the fact that Rex Ryan is battling his own scandal at this point. He had a very tough week last week and now he is still trying to keep the reporters at bay that wish to ask about the foot fetish scandal.
However, there was little in the way of fear in Ryan’s eyes as his team took the big win on Sunday and clinched their division title. Now he has to make some tough decisions as to who should play and who should not play when it comes to the next several games.
Because the Jets are already assured a playoff position, they do not have to worry about the next game because it will not count towards the NFL post season play.
For that reason Ryan is likely going to rest his entire first string for the upcoming game, giving them a chance to relax before having to return to the field for the playoff games. The Jets will face the Bills next Sunday to finish the season.
