Facebook Launches Branded Smart Phones

Facebook, the powerful social network, will release two branded smart phones next month, according to HTC, the largest and most popular smart phone manufacturer in the world.
The announcement of the Facebook branded smart phones was an accident. A member of the HTC Company sent an email to the wrong person, who happens to be a reporter. That reporter then released the information to the general public. However, the branded cell phones have been rumored since last year.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, denied all allegations last year that his company was pushing the mobile market with their own smart phone. But today things are a little different and it appears that Facebook is getting involved in the highly lucrative smart phone and mobile market.
All that is missing is the announcement of what networks the phones will be released for. It is possible that Facebook has managed to make a deal with a single carrier but like Apple, that would prove to be very limiting to say that least.
Some tech insiders have said that Facebook is planning to launch the new branded smart phones on all of the major networks, which would give them limitless possibilities for sales to the general public.
The phones are to be officially announced at the Mobile World Conference next month and will likely be released to the general public starting later this year. They are believed by some to be the hottest item to be released in the tech world at this time.
