Disney Adding New Attractions

Disneyland and Disneyworld both announced this past week that they are adding new attractions to the parks throughout the 2011 travel season.
This new push by Disney appears to be in response to the negative reviews that the parks have dealt with over the past two years. Each year, according to several travel companies, the price of admission goes up, but the attractions at the parks stay the same. As such many were growing tired of visiting the parks to see the same things.
With the new attractions will likely come a rate hike, one travel agent said. When the Disney Company announced that they would add Epcot Center to their parks two decades ago, the fees for admission doubled within one month. A similar move by the parks is expected with the new attractions.
Nonetheless, many are pleased that the parks are adding on. They want to see something new and exciting and there are thousands of travelers that are already planning their Disney vacations.
This is coupled with the new Disney cruises that have become popular over the past couple of years. The cruise lines that operate under this system have a complete Disney theme. The ships are completely child friendly and are designed for those that have a family.
Despite all of this, income for the Disney Company has been dipping in the last several years. Most associate this with the fact that admission to their parks, along with food and so on, is well outside the normal budget level.
