Ted Williams Heads to Rehab

Ted Williams, the former homeless man with the “golden voice,” is leaving California today to check in to a rehab facility.
Williams has become a national celebrity over the past couple of weeks but he admitted to Dr Phil on his hit show that he is still battling the addiction demons that kept him on the streets.
Williams said that he had begun drinking, despite the fact that he had claimed he was completely sober. He said that he started drinking about five days after his rise to fame started and now he feels that it could lead to further problems.
Williams is already a self-professed crack addict but said he was forced to give up crack because he never had the money to buy it. He then turned to alcohol and through alcohol he was able to feed his addiction and that continued after he was removed from the streets.
But Williams has thanked Dr Phil for his compassion and his thoughts on where he should go to get treatment. Williams will check himself into the Origins Recovery Center on South Padre Island. Dr Phil often suggests the Origins center for their program that has been one of the most successful in the entire United States.
Williams is set to accept a job with the Cleveland Cavaliers but he felt that he needed treatment before he was turned loose on the world with money in his pocket. He will likely spend about 90 days in the rehab facility.
