After Record Breaking Friday Shoppers look to Monday

This morning the furor of the busiest shopping day of the year has ended in the US but now shoppers are eyeing the new Cyber Monday.
The Black Friday shopping experience was a record-breaking event for the US retailers. Their financial numbers have been increased several times over from one single day of shopping.
However, the stores are now looking for a way to keep the ball rolling and they are turning to Cyber Monday to make that happen.
Much like Black Friday, Cyber Monday is a one day shopping experience where online venues lower prices on various goods to attract shoppers.
The tradition of Cyber Monday is not nearly as engrained as Black Friday but it has become quite the money-maker for the online retail outlets.
Amazon.com is one of the biggest online retailers and they are planning to pull out all the stops to attract as many people to their site as possible. They are looking to increase their overall revenue in the coming months through a wide variety of hot deals that will be too good for many to pass up.
However, there are still some downfalls that many are finding with the Cyber Monday celebrations. Online shopping has often been put aside because of the shipping costs for most items. But, many retailers are offering free or reduced shipping for the holiday season, making it even easier to get those great gifts.
The final financial numbers for the Black Friday sales have not been tallied but most believe that they will be better than ever for the struggling retail outlets.
