Gabor Returns to Hospital

Famed actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, 93, has gone back to the hospital today in Los Angeles seeking treatment for what doctors are calling a massive blood clot.
Gabor has been in and out the hospital for the past five months. She was said to have felt so bad in August that she asked for the Last Rites to be read to her. However, she recovered from the illness and was eventually sent home.
Gabor has been fighting several medical conditions in her later years. She is said to be completely immobile and spends her days in bed. The bed rest is the likely cause for the blood clot that formed in her legs. Doctors have said that it is common for those that are bedridden to form clots in the legs.
The concern was that the blood clot could break loose and travel to the heart, where it could be deadly. Doctors at the Los Angeles medical center are currently treating Gabor with non-surgical techniques.
They feel that because of her advanced age and her current health that surgery would be far too dangerous.
Gabor, along with her sisters, has been Hollywood fixtures since the 1950’s. Known for their elegance as well as their thick Hungarian accents, the Gabor sisters have starred in countless Hollywood hits.
Gabor’s sister Eva had the leading role in the hit television series Green Acres, her best known work to date. Zsa Zsa had supporting roles in Moulin Rouge and Touch of Evil most recently before falling ill.
