Phil Reese, manager for Jennifer Sterger, reported today that his client had turned over all evidence she had against Brett Favre to the NFL investigators in New York.

Sterger, who originally opted to stay clear of the scandal involving Brett Favre, decided to hand over the evidence that she was holding. This has the potential to blow the lid off the entire incident.

Earlier last month Favre met with the investigators and admitted that he sent voicemails to Sterger in hopes of starting a romantic relationship with her. However, he denied having sent her any sexually charged text messages or nude photos of himself.

Sterger and several friends claimed to have held onto the messages and the pictures. Sterger was resisting the calls from the NFL to turn over the evidence but she has since changed her mind.

With the new evidence in hand the league must now determine if Favre broke the league’s rules on conduct. If he is found guilty then he can be suspended and fined by the league.

Favre has been hinting at retirement lately, something that he generally does around this time. When asked if he would return to the Vikings for the 2011 season he gave a flat “no” answer.

However, he was slated to not return for the 2010 season but once again changed his mind as the season was set to get started.

Many believe that the scandal and any punishment that is handed down to Favre will be the catalyst for his full retirement.
