Ranger Fans Hope for a Comeback

Fans of the Texas Rangers are hoping that their team will not drop another game after falling 2-0 in the World Series as of today.
However, the team is in high spirits stemming from the fact that they are playing in their first World Series since becoming an MLB franchise.
The Rangers have had their share of problems in recent years. The team fell into a deep bankruptcy and was eventually put on the auction block. The team owners attempted to sell the team several times but the new owners were never approved.
The Rangers were eventually sold to former pitcher Nolan Ryan and his business partner. Since taking over, Ryan has managed to reduce the debt of the team and keep them operating in the black, something the previous owners were never able to do.
Now they are playing in their first World Series. However, they are falling behind and fans are hoping that the team comes alive before the end of the series. The coaches have said that they are planning on keeping the tournament alive for as long as possible.
Today the pitching staff from the Rangers took batting practice. The only reason that the pitchers would need to bat is if the series moved to Giants stadium for Game 6. In the American League pitchers do not bat and have a series of designated hitters that bat for them.
The Rangers are still favored to win the World Series despite their slow start.
